Genevieve Graves, mezzo-soprano, has been singing all her life, starting with the Piedmont Children's Choir. As a student, she co-founded Ancora, the young women's choir associated with that group. While earning her Bachelor's Degree in Astrophysics, she sang with the Harvard-Radcliffe Collegium Musicum, with the Collegium Chamber Singers, and directed VoCE, a small chamber ensemble. Since 2003, she has been living in Santa Cruz and singing with the Santa Cruz Chorale, while pursuing a Ph.D. in Astrophysics at UC Santa Cruz.
